The SPEEA Aerospace Career Enhancement (ACE) mentoring program is a 5-month program led by active and retired aerospace engineers.  It is open to anyone interested in having an aerospace professional as a mentor.  This includes college students, those looking to enter the aerospace industry or those seeking to change careers in the industry.  The program pairs individuals with current and retired aerospace professionals from a wide variety of disciplines, including pilots.

- Eligibility: Open to anyone interested in having an aerospace professional as a mentor

- Duration: This is a 5-month commitment that provides informal and formal opportunities

- Monthly Meetings: Held the 1st Tuesday of the month

- For Mentors: Technical coaches are available throughout the 5 months to help you on your mentor journey

- For Mentees: Technical coaches and ACE staff are available to help you on your mentee journey

Every month, the mentoring cohort participates in a workshop followed by opportunities for mentors/mentees to explore the monthly topic in breakout rooms. At the end of this course, you’ll be able to:

  • Create a 5 year plan that helps you achieve your career goals;
  • Understand how "soft-skills" help you to connect, communicate, and inspire action in technical roles;
  • Set-up, conduct, and follow-up from informational interviews;
